Privacy Policy

Quit Tracker - Weed is developed by Ron Yahav. No app account is required. Your quit records, plans, and conversations are stored in the app on your device. Purchase services communicate with Apple and RevenueCat. This policy describes those separate uses.

1. Records on your device

Local app storage can contain your goal, start date, reasons, selected triggers, personal plan, daily reports, craving and use logs, actions and outcomes, optional notes, earlier cycles, reminder preferences, and onboarding draft. Records retained from earlier versions may also include spending estimates, savings goals, mood, sleep, energy, and milestones.

We use these records to display your reported progress, resume unfinished support, show your plan, and schedule reminders you enable. Location labels, if saved in older logs, are labels you chose, not GPS readings. The app does not send these records to a developer-operated server or to RevenueCat.

2. Local AI conversations

On eligible iPhones, the app uses Apple's on-device language model to generate replies. Messages, responses, and unsent drafts are saved locally. If you enable saved context, selected information from your app records is included in the local model request. The setting is optional. There is no cloud chat provider or cloud fallback in the app.

The app does not upload your conversations for model training. Replies are automated and may be inaccurate. The app does not provide human monitoring or emergency response.

3. Storage, deletion, and backups

App records are persisted using UserDefaults in the app's local storage. You can clear a conversation from the chat menu, or use Settings > Delete all data to clear local app records and restart setup. Deleting local data does not cancel a purchase, erase Apple's billing records, or delete RevenueCat's purchase records.

Deleting the app removes its local container, subject to any device backups or restoration managed by Apple. The app has no account-based recovery or dedicated cloud sync. Device backups may contain app data according to your device settings. We cannot recover your local records for you.

4. Purchases and service data

Apple handles payment details, billing, renewals, refunds, and purchase management. RevenueCat receives purchase history and entitlement information, uses a generated app user identifier, and processes app and transaction information needed to validate and restore access and provide purchase analytics. The app does not supply your name, email, quit records, or chat messages to RevenueCat.

Purchase records may be retained as needed to provide access, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and operate these services. For questions or requests concerning service data, contact us using the address below. We may need information sufficient to identify a purchase record. Do not send sensitive quit notes or chat history with a support request unless needed for your question.

5. Notifications and diagnostics

Notifications require your permission and are scheduled locally. You can change notification permission in iPhone Settings. Lock-screen previews may be visible to other people; the app includes a setting to hide sensitive notification text.

The app has no advertising SDK or third-party behavioral analytics SDK. It writes limited flow and error events to Apple's local system logging facilities. Onboarding event names do not contain your answers. Apple may process system diagnostics according to your device settings and its policies.

6. Support and this website

If you email us, we receive the message, your email address, and any information you choose to include. We use it to respond and resolve the request. Visiting the legal website involves normal web requests, which the hosting provider may log, including IP address, browser information, requested page, and time. These pages contain no advertising scripts, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies added by us.

7. Your choices

We do not sell your personal information or use your quit records for advertising. You can delete local records, turn off notifications, decline saved context for chat, and contact us about access, correction, or deletion of information you have sent to us. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location. We retain support correspondence only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations.

8. Adults only

The app is intended for adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.

9. Changes and contact

We will update this page when practices change and revise the date above.
